Sell raffle tickets, solicit donations, work at an event.

Relief Staff:
Help fill in when staff in not available.  4-8 hour shifts, Day, Evening, & Night shifts available, flexible.

Donate Evening Meal: 
Be on the calendar to bring supper for the house.  Do it occasionally or once a month. Bring it ready to serve or prepare it here.

Meal Transportation: 
Pick up & deliver a donated meal from a restaurant.

Volunteer Driver: 
Receive emails when a resident needs a ride to appointments, interviews, jobs, etc.  Donate time/gas using your vehicle.

Committee Member: 
Provide support to a committee: Finace, Grants, Fundraising, Outreach & Educations, Personnel, By-Laws & Facilities.

Help with planning a specific event.


    Sign-up to volunteer at Frederick Place

     for support/relief staff

Support Staff: 
Be an extra hand while staff is present. Answer phone & door, accept donations, do small projects when asked or light housekeeping

Maintenance Work:  
Be a " Handy Man" for small projects when needed.

Yard Work:  
Help with raking, mowing or other occassional outside jobs.

Can you teach computers, interview skills, budgeting or other life skills? Your talent may be needed.


Frederick Place relies on the community for many items, such as:
Paper Products, Laundry Care, Cleaning Supplies, Personal Care Products, Food, and Household Items.

If you have gently used, or new items you wish to donate, please drop them off
 at the house Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
 For larger items, please call ahead to see if we have storage space.

Community Into Action

Regardless of any efforts to end homelessness, it's the community as a whole who takes action through partnership that will be successful in the battle and resolution to end homelessness. Whether it be local volunteers though individual hands-on involement, professional or business participation, Local or State legislative reform regarding homelesssnes and housing, working together and partnership is essential.
